A subscription includes the pack for your child's year. Practice scores, not official NAPLAN results.
Create a free account to buyNo. The learning follows a curriculum map, and fixed rules pick the next step from your child's answers. Each activity shows why it's there. AI helps with writing feedback and explaining questions after a test.
The starting check skips what they already know, and the plan brings back what keeps going wrong.
Yes, writing most of all. The writing studio sets narrative and persuasive tasks timed like NAPLAN, then gives a practice score against the NAPLAN writing criteria and shows what to fix. Maths and reading follow the Australian Curriculum, which builds the skills NAPLAN checks. It's practice, not an official NAPLAN result. Study Compass isn't affiliated with or endorsed by ACARA.
Years 3 to 7. Every year has its own maths and English lessons, in the year Tasmanian schools teach them, each with a topic quiz and practice levels. There's also the writing studio, 46 reading lessons, and NAPLAN-style practice tests for Years 3, 5 and 7. Scholarship test prep is coming soon.
Yes. Every lesson is matched to the Australian Curriculum (Version 9), which Tasmanian schools teach from Prep to Year 10, and sits in the year it's taught. The codes are on every topic in the parent view, so you can check them against school reports.
Yes. Year 7 maths and English follow the Australian Curriculum for Year 7, which is what Tasmanian high schools and district schools teach in the first year of high school. Our guide to starting high school explains what changes.
Not yet. Scholarship test prep for the ACER and Edutest papers set by Tasmanian independent schools is coming soon. For now, the school maths, reading and writing lessons build the skills those tests draw on, and the writing studio gives timed practice.
No. Change your state in Family settings and everything your child has done stays. Their plan moves lessons to the years your new state teaches them, and the parent view switches to that state's curriculum codes.
Every family gets 14 days free, with no card needed. Before your trial ends we'll email you, and you only pay if you choose to subscribe.
You decide. You set the study time for each day, and the plan fills that time, then stops.
It can be used on its own or alongside a tutor. Either way, the parent view shows what's been covered and where support is needed, which makes any tutor's time more useful.
Not usually. Lessons read aloud and explain as they go. Check the parent view once or twice a week.
